After working closely with images of this area for my Sedona Deck of Spiritual Cards, I was also inspired to paint the different Goddesses of the areas in & around Sedona...

Goddess of the Earth ~ she rises up from the earth as a tree grows. We are all rooted in Mother Earth...our branches~heads touch the sky...our dreams are cosmic visions of our past & future....all things are connected & we are all connected.

Goddess of Thunder Mountain ~ spoke to me of the towering rock formation known as Thunder Mountain. Daily I see her beauty...tall & straight & proud...unmoving...rising up from the rocks surrounding her.... For eons she has been watching ~ blessing those who travel her pathways.

Goddess of Cathedral Rock ~ whispered softly to me when she saw her sisters make their appearance...she asks us to still our minds from outside thoughts & see her beauty...to feel the love she shares with us...spiraling us back though the begging of time.

Goddess of Oak Creek ~ like her other sisters also requested an image...that we see her joy in our appreciation of her living waters that she shares to renew us. She is gentle & protective of her gift to us that we not abuse the privilege of hearing her song.
