The blue on my work represents the color of Arizona sky and also water, emotions & spirit. The crescent moon reminds us of the cycles in our life ~ birth, growth, maturation & passing into spirit. The red color of the earth represents the strength of our human form ~ we are spirit into matter. The green reminds us of the healing that is available to us in many forms ~ many ways. The glyphs remind us of the ancient wisdom and those who preceded us.

Although shields were originally used by warriors,today there are many different types of warriors in the world ~ these shields can benefit everyone ... from art collectors to spiritual & mystic warriors ...even Rainbow Warriors.

Painting was and continues to be my first love. I attended Philadelphia College of Art, Millersville University and have been a working artist for over 30 years. I've taken additional courses in jewelry design & fabrication as well as graphic design. After living many years in the east, I've found my true home in the high desert of Arizona. My studio, with the help of Spirit, was named Owl Feather Studio, is nestled amidst the fabulous red rocks of Sedona. In addition to creating Southwest themes, I also do Celtic, Celestial , Goddess and sacred work. I sell my work nationally and internationally.
